MK1/2 remote event monitor
March 2000
We installed
our first monitoring unit. We ran numerous tests until we were satisfied the unit
produced the results we required. Whilst on a visit to a local authority we met
with one of the larger outdoor media companies, thus was born the AshwoodAlerts
Monitoring System.
March 2001
we installed units for three of the major outdoor
media companies at various locations.
September 2001
The MK1 Alamon monitoring
unit completed their trial periods with complete success and our customers are now
enjoying the benefits of lower downtime and instant communication from their monitored
equipment.
ECM/8 remote event monitor
July 2003
We first prototyped what is now
the ECM range of monitor.
April 2005
To complement AshwoodAlerts we launched the all
new GSM based monitor the ECM/8 Range of advanced Event Monitors, that we first
prototyped in 2003. These were developed to provide most of the functions that could
be required by numerous industries.
March 2006
We have some 300 ECM/8 monitors
in the field with a number of variants such as:-
- Scheduled lights operation turning
the lights on and off to a preset pattern
- Starting up remote equipment at pre set
times
- Unlocking gates / doors by remote command
- Starting standby equipment when
there is a fault in the main services
These are just some of the operations that
can be achieved by the ECM/8 remote event monitor.
September 2006
We will install "ECM/8 Vision" the first demonstration unit of our this inexpensive remote camera
system.
"ECM/8 Vision" provides our customers with visual access to their sites. The pictures
are fed back to AshwoodAlerts and available to our customers from password protected web pages.
November 2006
"ECM/8 Vision" will be further developed to give our customers
client's the opportunity to see their media displayed.
AshwoodAlerts
May 2003
Ashwood
started to develop an advanced operations centre this is now called "ECM/8 Vision". This
is a bespoke developed application which provides "real time" information
to our customers. It incorporates the latest technology informing management on
events within an hour of them happening, and automatically informs personnel
to attend remote equipment.
May 2004
We further developed AshwoodAlerts, a unique
customer accessible events centre give the customer the opportunity to see advanced
management reports giving him more control over his workforce thus cutting down
equipment downtimes.
It’s 1-2-3
- 1. Any monitored event is displayed on the customer's
PC or Mac informing them of a fault occurring and an e-mail backing this up, if
required.
- 2: The operative will receive a message by text on his mobile phone which includes the time, date, site and fault.
- 3: Once the fault condition is cleared a Unit Operational will be displayed
on the customer's PC or Mac informing them the fault has been cleared.
This technology
has been developed to accommodate signals from almost any form or manufacture of
GSM / GPRS monitoring system. |
