What can I monitor?

Any equipment that consumes power and or is mechanical

How many functions can I monitor?

The ECM monitor is set up to monitor 8 functions:

1 confirms incoming power

1 confirms electrical integrity of the equipment being monitored

1 confirms mechanical movement

1 measured the current that is being consumed

1 operates with a key fob (engineer on site

2 spare voltage free contacts

Can I turn my equipment on and off through the monitor?

Yes, the ECM/8 has 2 relays present and can be operated through your web page on a schedule or operated by text message on a mobile phone

Relay 1 - Can be set up normally closed or normally open.
Relay 2 - normally open.

Has the  monitor got any other inputs?

Yes
I input to operate RFID Tags             * if installed
1 input to operate a camera              * if installed

Can I tell when my operative arrives on site?

Yes, the ECM is fitted with a receiver that is operated by a key fob (coded to your sites) they operate this when they arrive on site the unit operational tells you when they have left site.

Can I move the monitor from site to site?

Yes, the ECM/8 comes with an installation harness which is fitted to your equipment any number of these harnesses can be installed. Just unplug the monitor and plug it into the new site. ( inform AshwoodAlerts)

Can I tell when my operative arrives on site?

Yes, The ECM is fitted with a receiver that is operated by a key fob (coded to your sites) they operate this when they arrive on site them must be within 3 meters of the equipment being monitored.

Can I see the performance?

Yes, AshwoodAlerts gives you a full management overview to each individual site or group of sites.

Can I contact my sub contractors through the web page?

Yes, an icon is displayed on the end of an event on the events web page. Click this and it gives you the opportunity to write a message that can be seen by the operatives and sub contractors that have access that page.

How many people can use the my web page?

The contract allows 5 people to use your web page:

1: “Customer Manager” this allows this operative overall control of your web page

4: Customer Modify allows restricted functions allowed by the Customer Manager.

Can I let my contractors to see events on my web page?

Yes, There is a separate contract web page for sub contractors allowing them to see only the units maintained by them

How many people can be alerted by an event?

On the standard contract:

1: by text message

4: by e-mail

Can I use the monitor without you web page?

Yes,  you can operate the monitor with a mobile phone

Do I have to set up an airtime agreement?

No, Ashwood set this up and run the contract

Do I pay for text messages?

No,  they are inclusive in the annual monitoring charge

How long is the monitoring contract for?

Initially 3 years and then annually

What do I have to pay for monitoring?

Three year web licence paid annually

An annual monitoring charge for each piece of equipment
